Implement hybrid setup planning
If migrating from on-prem to cloud, start your hybrid setup plan to manage the transition smoothly.
Inventory and resource allocation
Confirm you have the right hardware (phones, headsets) and software licenses. Check your inventory of users, devices, and locations.
Compatibility check
Make sure new phones work with your current network, including bandwidth, firewall, and proxy settings.
Roll out in batches
Roll out phones in batches—by floor or department—to avoid disrupting business.
Test each batch
After each batch, run tests on key features like call transfer, conference, hold, directory lookup, and speed dials.
Plan for downtime
Schedule rollouts during off-hours, like evenings or weekends, to reduce impact.
Allow for configuration time

Calendar button
All 9800 models support One Button to Push (OBTP) for easy meeting joins. The 9851 and 9861 also have a capacitive touch calendar button for quick access to calendar events.
Shared workspace experience - Hot Desking
Users can find available desks by green light indicators, sign in to personalize their phone, and share resources across hybrid teams.
